NYC Ferry Summer 2025 schedule changes will go into effect on Monday, May 19th to accommodate changes in ridership. Here is everything you need to know about this schedule change:
- On weekdays from 3:45pm-8:00pm, the Rockaway route will operate every 45 minutes. Due to limited shuttle availability, the Rockaway East Shuttle Bus will only serve certain trips during the afternoon peak. Click here for more information.
- Some weekday departure times on the Rockaway, Astoria, Soundview, and South Brooklyn routes have changed to provide more reliable service during peak times. Please review schedules below or on the NYC Ferry app to view changes.
- The Rockaway Reserve is back this summer! Starting Memorial Day weekend, riders will be able to reserve a spot on departures to and from Rockaway during peak weekend and holiday service. Click here for more information.
- On summer weekends and holidays, NYC Ferry will serve Governors Island via direct shuttle from Pier 11. All NYC Ferry riders can make a free transfer to the Governors Island Shuttle at Wall St/ Pier 11.
- During Memorial Day Weekend (Saturday, May 24 to Monday, May 26) and on Juneteenth (Thursday, June 19), the Rockaway route will operate more frequently. Please see Modified Holiday Schedules below to plan your trip.
- On select weekend days, a point-to-point shuttle will operate between Red Hook/Atlantic Basin and Wall St./Pier 11 to accommodate cruise-related demand. Shuttle days and departure times are listed in the South Brooklyn Modified Weekend schedule below.
- Rockaway modified holiday schedule will operate on: 5/24/2025, 5/25/2025, 5/26/2025, 6/19/2025
- Red Hook-Pier 11 shuttle will operate on: 6/1/2025, 6/8/2025, 6/14/2025, 6/15/2025, 6/22/2025, 6/29/2025
