Finally! The spookiest, adrenaline pumping time of the year has arrived. There’s no better way to feel the thrill of Halloween than to explore the creepy events occurring throughout NYC. Grab your pumpkin spice latte and get ready to feel frightful as you read through our top picks on where to roam this Halloween.
New York’s Village Halloween Parade:
October 31, 2017 @ 7PM
Runs up 6th Ave from Spring Street to 16th Street
Founded in 1974 by puppeteer, Ralph Lee, he had aspirations to show the community his creative costume making skills. His friends and family helped him turn his dreams into a reality by wearing the costumes he fabricated. The parade became so popular, that it has been embedded annually and become a grand part of the Greenwich Village and NYC Community. Good for all ages.
Rock The Yacht on Halloween with Hornblower:
October 31, 2017 @ 8:30PM
Pier 15 in the South Street Seaport – 78 South St. New York, NY
Rumor has it that it’ll be a full moon on Halloween night. With that being said, if you’re going out on this peculiar night, you might as well enjoy yourself in a unique fashion by doing the Monster Mash on a yacht. Feel free to come in costume attire, or if you just want to party in general, you can come in casual attire as well. It’s a guaranteed fun time with great music, good vibes and phenomenal scenery. See you there!
Beetle House NYC – Tim Burton Themed Restaurant:
308 E 6th Street, New York, NY
If you’re a Tim Burton fan, you’ll love what this creepy restaurant has to offer. It’s a cozy space filled with decor from movies such as Nightmare Before Christmas, Alice in Wonderland, Edward Scissorhands and, of course, Beetlejuice. They even have a Michael Keaton Beetlejuice look alike. The drinks will be to DIE for… literally, such as the Coco Skellington or Alice’s cup o’tea, it’ll make you jump into the spirit of Halloween even more. Good for all ages.

October 29, 2017 from 11AM-2PM

FiDi Families represent the Financial District and always keep the community updated with the newest restaurants, daycares, and local activities. They’re hosting another spectacular Halloween celebration for all to join. Featured in this year’s festivities will be party-starting stilt walkers, face painting, live music, and mini pumpkin decorating. Put on your best mask (see what I did there?) and take a few moments to go to the block party with family and friends on this fine day.
