Today NYC Ferry completed phase two as we launched the sixth route of the NYC Ferry System, our Lower East Side Route! It was a big day for NYC’s Citywide Ferry Service as we provided new connections to Corlears Hook, Manhattan, and Stuyvesant Cove, Manhattan.

The NYC Ferry Team arrives at our Long Island City Landing to welcome passengers onboard for the Inaugural Ride at 6:30 AM on the morning of August 29,2018:

New NYC Ferry Riders enjoyed the East River views as we headed into Wall St./Pier 11 on our Inaugural Voyage:

Later that Morning we were joined by Mayor Bill De Blasio at our Corlears Hook Landing. Riders were welcomed by Mayor De Blasio and music by local salsa group who traveled from Manhattan to Corlears Hook. The Mayor did a short press conference with Councilmen Keith Powers and President of Friends of Corlears Park, Michael Marino:

We are so excited to bring ferry service to the Lower East Side and we look forward to seeing you onboard an NYC Ferry! Learn more about the all new Lower East Side Route and plan your commute today.
