NYC is all the buzz during the holidays. Spend time with your friends and family this holiday season while you eat local with NYC Ferry. From holiday treat, hours and specials we listed it all!  Keep reading for a list of great local restaurants to visit along our East River Route. 

Restaurants Near our DUMBO Landing

Luke’s Lobster – is a favorite in the Brooklyn area. Luke’s Lobsters, known for its lobster rolls, also offers crab and shrimp rolls. If you want to try all three you can try Luke’s Trio which includes a sample size of the crab, lobster, and shrimp roll.  They will be open on Christmas Eve from 11 am to 8 pm. It is a seven-minute walk from our DUMBO landing.

Shake Shack – is a local favorite offering different kinds of burgers, milkshakes, and fries. Shake Shack also offers menu items for dogs which includes their Pooch-ini and Bag O’ Bones. Know a Shake Shack lover? Grab them a gift from the shack swag shop. Shake Shack is a two-minute walk from our DUMBO landing.

The River Cafe – is a landmark eatery. It offers a new American menu and stunning views of Manhattan. You can visit their website for their special Christmas Eve and Christmas Day menus. The River Cafe will be serving a four-course holiday dinner and seating can be reserved between 5 pm and 8:30 pm on Christmas Eve. On Christmas Day they will be serving a four-course holiday dinner and seating can be reserved between 2 pm and 9 pm. The River Cafe is a two-minute walk from our DUMBO landing.

One Girl Cookies – is Brooklyn’s neighborhood bakery offering cookies, cakes, coffee, savory snacks, wine, and beer. Stop at One Girl Cookies for their new Holiday Tea Cookie Collection which includes Agnes (brown sugar), Isadora (rich chocolate), and Delia (soft and spicy molasses). If you know someone who enjoys a quality treat, this place is for you. One Girl Cookies is a six-minute walk from our DUMBO landing.

Restaurants Near Our South Williamsburg Landing

Barano – is South Williamsburg’s wood-fired seasonal Italian restaurant by Chef Albert Di Meglio. It has seasonal menus inspired by old world cooking, with open-fire grills and wood-burning ovens, mixed with modern tastes. They also handmake pasta and mozzarella cheese in-house, so be sure to try their fresh dishes. It is a four-minute walk from our South Williamsburg landing.

Blank – is a Japanese fusion eatery with a wide menu of Japanese comfort food. Every day during happy hour from 2 pm to 6 pm, Blank has deals on wine, sake, and beer. They offer brunch and sake-based mimosas during their oasis hours. It is a four-minute walk from our South Williamsburg landing.

Restaurants Near Our North Williamsburg Landing

Fabbrica | The Factory – is where Meatpacking meets Williamsburg at this industrial-chic restaurant. They serve fresh pasta and authentic Neapolitan pizzas for lunch and brunch, before transforming into an intimate dinner spot and music venue at night. It is a three-minute walk from our North Williamsburg landing.

Sea – is more than a Thai restaurant, it’s an experience. The restaurant has flashy decor, live music, and even a koi pond. Have friends coming to NYC for the holidays? Sea is the perfect dining destination for a group. It is a seven-minute from our North Williamsburg landing.

Cafe Mogador Williamsburg – is now taking Christmas reservations. You can find their 2018 Christmas Dinner Menu on their website. The menu features butternut squash soup, roti and a wide array of entrees. You can also order celeriac puree, roasted sweet potato,lime yogurt for your table to share. It is a six-minute walk from our North Williamsburg landing.

Restaurants Near Our Greenpoint Landing

Anella – is a Mediterranean-accented New American cuisine served in a dim-lit atmosphere. They host weekend brunches from 10 am to 4 pm. Anella also offers gift cards for purchase. It is a five-minute walk from our Greenpoint landing.

Paulie Gee’s – is a gourmet pizzeria where the wood-fired pies are topped with unusual, locally sourced ingredients. Get one of their special holiday pizza boxes while supplies last. It is a five-minute walk from our Greenpoint landing.

Naked Dog – serves Italian cuisine in a rustic-chic space with a bar. Their menu is seasonal, consistently aiming to be simple and features organic ingredients from local farms and purveyors. They often host live music acts and it is a three-minute walk from our Greenpoint landing.
