You’re invited to the Kips Bay Day For kids Annual Celebration! Take NYC Ferry’s Soundview Route to Soundview and make a difference in the lives of the children in your community. Bring your family, friends and pets. Enjoy an array of games, arts and crafts, raffles and prizes, including a chance to win round-trip NYC Ferry Tickets
For more than 25 years, adults and children alike have participated in the Day for Kids event in advocacy for youth. Day for Kids celebrates the life-changing work taking place at Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club throughout the year.
The memorial run commemorates local hero, NYPD Deputy Chief Steven Bonano, with two memorial runs. The run is divided into two segments; the first stretch is led by our youth followed by the adult participants. Mr Bonano grew up in our community, attended Kips Bay as a youngster, and continued to make mentoring visits to the Clubhouse throughout his stellar NYPD career.
