NYC Ferry operates its services in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Title 23 CFR Part 200 and Title CFR Part 21) without regard to race, color and national origin. Any individual who believes they are being excluded from participating in, been denied benefits of, or otherwise being discriminated against because of your race, color, national origin, gender, age, disability, income or limited ability to speak English, has the right to file a formal complaint.
Complaints will be accepted in writing and may be filed with the NYC Ferry Compliance Office writing 180 days from the date of the alleged act of discrimination. To file a complaint, please print and mail the NYC Ferry Complaint Form to the address below.

Yes. Only service animals are allowed on board. Dogs, with the exception of trained service animals as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act, are not permitted on NYC Ferry vessels unless they are in a pet carrier and/or muzzled.
Our ferries are fully accessible to New Yorkers with disabilities, and comply with the requirements of both the Americans with Disabilities Act and New York City Local Law 68 of 2005.
All NYC Ferry boats and landings ADA compliant. Please keep in mind that ferry access is a first come first serve basis.
