Brooklyn’s DUMBOWeen Is Back And It’s Going To Be A Tricky Treat To Remember

On October 31, Brooklyn’s DUMBOWeen will be “spook-tacular!” Enjoy the story of the Jack-O-Lanter with the Brooklyn Roasting Company’s Jim Munson. Join the March to the Arch and parade DUMBO’s streets with the Funkrust Brass Band and puppets from Great Small Works!  The Festivities are a treat, get creative with arts and crafts, costume contest, listen to live music and delight in endless candy give away from 4:00-7: 00 pm!

4:30 pm: Annual March to the Arch
Brooklyn Roasting Company – 25 Jay St
Jim Munson of Brooklyn Roasting Company regales us with the story of the Jack-O-Lantern. Then, costumed characters leave Brooklyn Roasting Co and parade through DUMBO’s streets en route to the Archway under the Manhattan Bridge, led by the Funkrust Brass Band and puppets from Great Small Works!

5:00 – 7:00 pm: Archway Kids party

Brass + puppets performance the Funkrust Brass Band and Great Small Works. Hands-on arts & crafts with Creatively WILD Art Studio. Photobooth fun from Brooklyn Central. Prizes for the best costumes. And, of course, lots and lots of candy! All free and open to the public. (Plus beer and wine specials at The Lighthouse for Mom and Dad.)

7:00 – 10:00 pm: Pet Costume Soiree

The Lighthouse presents an all ages, all species fete with music by DJ DuctTape, and beer, wine & bites ’till 10:00 pm!

PLUS! Trick-or-Treating from 4-7pm
Neighborhood-wide
It’s a DUMBO BID tradition! Grab your pumpkin bucket: the DUMBO BID sponsors storefront trick-or-treating for the little ones from 4-7pm. 40+ businesses will be giving out candy to costumed DUMBOnians.
Travel via NYC Ferry to Brooklyn’s DUNBOWeen! 
This year’s DumboWeen is going to be “Scary Good,” so don’t miss it! Take the NYC Ferry’s East River or South Brooklyn route to Dumbo Brooklyn Bridge- Pier 1.
