Come One, Come All, To The Lower East Sides’ Pickle Day Celebration! Enjoy a fun-dilled day with Pickles!

Join the Lower East Sides’ Pickle Day Celebration and taste a slice of history! This free annual event takes place on Orchard Street between Delancey and East Houston is packed with a crunch!

The organizers of this year 17th Annual Lower East Sides’ Pickle Day Celebration is the Lower East Side Partnership. As a not-for-profit community organization, it’s mission is to enhance and diversify the community. Every year, more than 30,000 pickle lovers flock to New York’s Lower East Side for a day of tasty pickles entertainment, family activities and “all things pickled.” You can expect lively streets filled with renowned picklers, local restaurants, and delightful vendors. They offer snacks such as pickle soda, deep-fried pickles, pickle cupcakes, and more delicious cuisines.

Event Activities

Enter brine and pickle tasting competitions, play pickle toss games, face painting, live music, family activates and more. Don’t forget to hang out with the giant pickle mascot!

Visit participating vendors to receive free samples, recipes, and fun giveaways. Some of this year’s pickle vendors are Guss’ Pickles, Pickle Guys, Pickle Me Pete and Rick’s Picks. There are also dozens of local restaurants and vendors including Butcher Bar, Melt Bakery, The Meatball Shop, and Serafina Ludlow, ready to serve pickle inclusive dishes and other treats.

Pickle Contest
