Looking for something to do on the  NYC Ferry’s Lower East Side route? Travel via NYC Ferry the Prohibition Pub Crawl Lower East Side lead by the Urban Village Tours. Take NYC Ferry’s Lower East Side (LES) route to Corlears Hook to get to the Burgary, the tours origin.

From 6:00 PM TO 9:00 PM, you can travel back in time to the Roaring 20’s as you visit several of LES pubs which served as speakeasies during Prohibition.  Uncover whom some of the brazen nightclub owners were in the 20’s, including the so-called “Queen of the Speakeasies” who would woo thirsty denizens into her clubs. Learn about the many gangsters who became immeasurably wealthy from their scofflaw tactics including Lower East Siders Charles “Lucky” Luciano and Meyer Lansky. Find out about the first Catholic presidential candidate and his plan to end Prohibition if elected.  Discover the movement to ultimately end the Eighteenth Amendment with the Twenty-First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.  All the while, you can sip on craft cocktails with nary a hint of scandal.
