Jamaica Bay Raptorama

NYC Ferry is Proud to be a Sponsor of the Jamaica Bay Raptorama

Details Date: October 21, 2018 iCal
Start: 10:00 AM
End: 3:00 PM

This year, NYC Ferry is proud to be a sponsor of the Jamaica Bay Raptorama. Take NYC Ferry’s Rockaway Route to visit the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge. Come to see and celebrate hawks, falcons, eagles, owls, and other birds of prey. Learn about raptors, their behavior, biology, and migration, as well as where to find many species around the city. Activities include meeting live hawks and owls provided by a local rehabilitation center, indoor slide programs, family art activities, and a visit to the hawk watch platform nearby at Fort Tilden.

Bring your binoculars (or borrow ours) and lots of curiosity!  Free* and open to the public. For more information and reservations, contact the American Littoral Society at 718-474-0896 or [email protected].
